Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how STREIQ ("STREIQ", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you join the STREIQ early-access waitlist through this website. STREIQ is an early-stage project and is not yet officially incorporated or registered as a company; it is currently run by the private individuals behind it, who act as the data controllers for the information described below.
What we collect
- Your email address, along with the date and time you signed up and the consent you gave, when you submit the waitlist form.
- Basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) that our hosting provider records automatically to keep the site secure and running.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics on this site.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To contact you about early access and launch — legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the box on the form.
- To operate and secure the website — legal basis: our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in running a functional, secure site.
Who processes your data
We rely on a small number of trusted providers ("processors") to run the waitlist and host the site. We never sell your data.
- Formspree — receives and stores your waitlist submission (email and consent). See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosts this website and processes technical request logs. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where your data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the providers' data processing agreements.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed (for example, once early access has fully rolled out), after which we delete it. Technical logs are kept only for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it; and
- lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi).
